The client for this project was Sunny Savage, a Hawaii-based local naturalist who commissioned me to design their app, Savage Kitchen. The main features include tips for identifying and harvesting five different kinds of edible invasive plants, recipes for using said gathered plants, and an interactive map where users can log geographical locations of the species for other foragers. I designed the app, including the layout and features, as well as the illustrations for an accompanying guidebook.
